Department of Physics

The Department of Physics was established in 2012. The Department offers traditional 2-year master's, and doctoral programs in Physics. The Department has been recognized for special funding by SVCAS under the Fund for Improvement of Science and Technology Infrastructure (Research Level ). The research activities have resulted in more than 10 research papers published in peer-reviewed journals. The faculty members have received national and international awards and are fellows of the national academies. The Students have received gold medal.

INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES

Research facilities in the Department of Physics: UV Spectrometer. The Department houses selected instrumental facilities to support day-to-day teaching and research activities. The major facilities are: UV-Vis spectrometer analyzer.
